'ove actually
I can't remember the last time England beat Ireland in football.

My dad was born in the Republic, and comments like 'I hate the Republic of Ireland' is very offensive and is just pure rascist.

The only reasons you give for saying that is, you are English and you can't understand them.

If more people were like you, the world would be a better place. Wanker

What happened in 1995 was the English rioting. I was there. You weren't, hence all you know of it is the BBC reports

English rioted, Irish cops cracked some skulls and made the English walk to the B&I line port in Dunlaoghaire along the train tracks. Thats all.

Turn on Sky News now - well, it may be Sky News Ireland only

Theres a section on Republic of Ireland native soldiers in the British Army. There goes your "fighting for England" think Kev. In case of war, particularly WWII, there are always a huge amount of Irish soldiers fighting for the UK. These two countries are linked in more ways than any other two in the world, really. Racism between us is incredibly, incredibly stupid.

I just think it's fair to say that Kev doesn't know what he's on about. He's dug himself deeper and deeper into a hole, and he's too embarrassed to admit he doesn't know how to get out of it. I'd leave it there if I were you, MYOB.

To be fair to kev, he said he hated the Republic of Ireland, not any Irish people in particular. That's not being racist.

MYOB, sometimes I feel you need to get off your high horse a bit and stop taking everything said on here quite so seriously.

i also want France to win, because I detest Robbie Keane and his celebrations.

Asking me not to be serious is like asking Kev to tidy his room - its unlikely to happen

Ah, the Archer celebration was a heat-of-the-moment experience. You had to be Irish to understand it - I was watching that match during a break in school - may even have been the Junior Cert (GCSE's).
