I toyed (sp?) with the idea recently, basically the NSC Live CHat is used for matches and thats fine to a certain extent. But recently I've noticed a few threads asking if people are in live chat during non-match days, also the amount of activity here not only during the day but during the evening too.
If bored at home with nothing on TV then I often pop onto IRC to chat to mates from various countries (yes I have actually met them, i'm not just an "internet Geek" ya know) also chat to my family in the US on IRC abit too.
Anyway back to the point of the thread, some of you may of heard of IRC (Internet Relay Chat) whih is cool as you'll know what its all about, for the others out there it is basically the best/biggest way to chat to people in real-time (like MSN messenger chat but better) whenever you feel like it.
Its not hard to setup, see http://www.mirc.com for one of the most popular progams for IRC.
So, would the good folk on NSC not only use IRC and chat real-time whenever they wanted but do they think its a good idea?
Pros over NSC Live Chat: Better programs, more user options, faster speeds under laggy circumstances (i.e. alot of people in room), disabling of *crabtree* like sounds too!
Cons over NSC Live Chat: Not as simple (but not exactly tech head stuff)
Well?
