This is taken from a post I made last night on the main board:
Djmiles ordered our tickets on Friday, was told they would get posted. Alas, by this morning (Tuesday) they failed to arrive so phoned up the ticket office and were told they would be at the ground for pick-up. Fine. No problem. However when we got to the ground (7:15) there is a huge queue to pick up tickets with just the 1 booth open.
The poor customer service at the ground didn't help matters after they misplace numerous tickets. Just my luck, at 8:00pm both myself and Djmiles were still left standing outside with no tickets. The staff there were very apologetic but it was an absolute farce. We seemed to be just about the only patient people there, but the people who were rude to the staff got their matter dealt with first. Makes me wonder why I bother being polite to the staff if they deal with the tickets based on who is the rudest.
Can you ensure the relevant people in the ticket office are made fully aware of this situation (i'm sure there were a few others who complained i'm sure) just so this doesn't happen again. There were little children crying because they couldn't get into the ground before the game starts and it would be a shame if these families are put off coming again because of a cock up somewhere.
