Ipswich are hoping to complete the double after this 2-0 win at Portman Road in September
First published in Albion by Brian Owen
Ipswich striker David McGoldrick has been ruled out of his side’s trip to the Amex tomorrow.
But the Tractor Boys have a more then capable replacement in Noel Hunt, who scored twice on Saturday.
Hunt stepped up after seven-goal McGoldrick suffered a knee injury late in last week’s FA Cup replay against Southampton.
The Irishman’s double helped secure a 3-1 success at Millwall and added to his last-gasp winner at Charlton recently.
He is likely to again partner 17-goal Darryl Murphy in attack against Albion tomorrow.
Cole Skuse is expected to return after a three-match injury absence to play at the base of Town’s midfield diamond.
Ipswich today completed the signing of veteran goalkeeper Paddy Kenny and he is likely to be on the bench.
