based on this im a double twat as I have 2 iphones (UK one and US one)...

Mega ultra twat. You MUST live in Shoreditch.

It's simply not possible that you're a regular bloke who likes having a f***ing good phone.

OK then, I'm sure "selected" (ie very few) reviews have marked it down, but me and you know that MOST reviews will agree that it is pretty much THE portable music device out there.

Also, that bottom line is such a myth, you keep going on about it but no one is showing them off and almost all people have admitted they have swapped the headphones as the Apple ones are RUBBISH.

I-Pods nearly had its day, the future is Spotify and the like. The ability to stream limitless music instead of having it stored locally is common sense. I see Nokia are also trying to sue Apple, about time they've been nicking other peoples ideas for years.

Spotify is no use when you're on an aircraft or something, plus it's losing money hand over fist.

Nifty app thou.

On planes maybe yes (for the moment) but not entirely true, there is a caching system on new mobile devices (bit like pause on Sky+) enabling the music to keep playing even when the signal is lost.

Wait until the digital switchover is complete, no more signal troubles with mobile phones as all networks will be high speed. The government have made millions selling the old TV analouge network off to the phones companies.

By the way Apple are starting to behave much like Microsoft in the 90's

I'm at work now and the one in Regent Street, London is right opposite, its like watching a load of sheep being hurded into a barn:fishing:

The SOHO one over here isnt too bad but the 5th Ave store is just like that - full of tourists wanting to ride the glass elevator - its like Charlie and the Chocoloate factory in there.... :jester:

Havent tried the 9th Ave store yet though.... rumours they are going to open one up in Williamsburg which will be perfect for me

They speak highly of you

Reminds me of a response i saw in a closed down bookstore in Brooklyn recently where a notice said

"Bill posters will be prosecuted" and a handwritten response was "Bill Posters is innocent"

How witty :dunce:

FYI - I Love British Airways - anyone on here work for them who can get me an upgrade for my crimbo trip home ? :D

Well you can argue with the lastest WHICH report if you want.

It frankly isn't THE player. There are hundreds out there which you havent even seen or considered because it hasn't got a groovy apple on the front.

I don't even listen to music these days, but I can tell you that there will another product that does the same job for less money.

It's as simple as that. There are the new Microsoft who have entered your brain convincing you there are the only phone / music player manufacturer.

If Apple made chairs, the Apple fans would buy them too and think Apple has invented them.

Hey guys I can sit on the new IChair, which seemlessly integrates with my arse.

The "seamless integration" point does make chuckle. Yes of course an Apple product will seamlessly integrate with other Apple products, because Apple only wants you to buy other Apple products. God help other manufacturers, but I'm sure you know all the stories.

You've been conned I'm afraid and your wallet is all the lighter for it.

I love NSC, Everytime there is a debate about Apple people who don't have one get all arsey. I don't give a shit which mp3 player you have and love but it's good to know those who don't like Apple can spend so much time and effort slagging them off....repetitively and relentlessly. We heard you the 1st time!!
