Hi - I have had an original ipad since they first came out, and everyone keeps telling me how much better the Ipad2 is. I've had a look and can't see too much difference part from a camera. Has anyone made the upgrade, and is it worth it? Thanks in advance.

I've stuck with iPad 1 which I got on launch day. iPad 2 was a typical Apple update - the product becomes more appealing for those who were wavering over a purchase but for those who already own, there's not really a compelling reason to update.

I'll be waiting for iPad 3.

Don't go expecting a revolution. After creating what is generally considered a groundbreaking product, Apple products tend to evolve steadily if the company think they're on the right path.

So the ipad 2 is lighter, has two cameras, is thinner. 12 months on, to have two cameras in a device both thinner and lighter and still has the same 10 hour battery life is a major feat in engineering. However, for someone comparing the two iterations, yes, they're not that much different in how they behave.

I've got my iPad in the office, my mate has his iPad 2.

It's a bit quicker and has two cameras. But certainly not worth the upgrade in my opinion.

Wait for the 3 :D

Yeah I have the ipad 1 as well, waiting for ipad 3 to upgrade I think.

Especially when you consider ios 5 will be available as an upgrade to both ipads which will give the product a new lease of life anyway.
