I have now had two emails from the club inviting me to get a season ticket for next season. I already have one and have had for many years. Is this happening to anyone else?

I`m sure some people would if they could freely let friends family or work colleagues go ... As per 1901.
I`d get another although would have be next to me which prob impossible.

No, and I cancelled mine back in February. Not only trying to sell me a season ticket but also to pay to go on the 1901 waiting list.
