With the tragic story in the papers today, just how do these sites work?

Unlike most forums where a high number of posts is respected ,are you derided because your able to keep posting and therefore are not taking the suicide bit seriously!

Similarly, if you post tips on methods that can hardly be a worthy suggestion as its evidently not worked for you!

Surely the set of smiley icons must be seriously neglected ?

A mod would have to think very carefully before banning someone.

A lifetime ban would probably end up being quite short.

I doubt many of them talk about Falmer opening a year from now.

The good news is that a binfest only runs to 2 pages.

I won't be applying for that position then

Suicide is not something to laugh about.:nono:

I met this woman a few weeks ago who had slit her wrists. She's a recovering alcoholic and I missed her call on Friday. Tried ringing her but phone always seems to be switched off and I'm really worried about her.

No, its not something to laugh about, but its a factor of our lives, and always will be I suspect.
Wish they would have some thoughts for others. I wouldnt want to be the rescue worker trying to drag a body from under a metro etc..

I rarely get annoyed on NSC, and with this thread I don't mind some disscussion. But please could some be more considerate towards other people. Two of my school 'friends commited suicide and to read some of the things on here makes
me feel quite angry.
Thanks
