For a few years now i've regularly listened to Last.fm and We7 when i'm at work and thought how brilliant it is not to have tons of adverts and to be able to listen to music that is properly tailored to my tastes.
However since getting a new HTC phone i have decided that internet radio is not just brilliant, its feckin incredible. For me this is absolutely going to be the future or radio broadcasts, no wonder people are ditching broadcasting in DAB.
I've sat for an hour a night for the last 2 nights listening to about 30 tracks, all of which were to my taste but of which i knew only about 4, and best of all with NO ADVERTS!
I was debating asking for a DAB radio for my car for Xmas this year but instead i'll just play Last.fm through the bluetooth stereo hands free kit for free and again, NO ADVERTS!
For those of you into your music with smart phones who haven't already done it, get the apps now! I bloody love technology me!
