(One to get my mate MYOB frothing at the mouth with excitement.)

Anyone else switched to Firefox?

Actually I say anyone else but I haven't quite done so yet. I've given it a go and it seems 'alright', but there's something about it I'm not quite sure about and I can't put my finger on it.

Anyone else made the switch and happy?

Anyone else still not sure? If so, why?

Thank you for your time. You have not been charged for this call.

Switched to Firefox some months back after asking on here if anyone knew how to fix a recurring IE problem I had. Never looked back since.

Other than me, I think theres a fair few here

Could you check the stats and see what the breakdown for NSC usage is, Bozza?

I'm happy with Firefox, and from IE users that have converted (I came from Netscape through Mozilla to Firefox) I've been told that anything they miss usually has its functionality available in an extension - theres hundreds of Firefox extensions.

Been switched for 8 months or so and wouldn't go back. Tabbed browsing rules. It could be the left justification of NSC signatures that seems strange. It takes a bit of getting used to.

Go the whole hog and get Thunderbird instead of Outlook. Come over completely to the Geeky Dark Side. Cuts down spyware immensely.

I use Firefox, it's excellent. Very occasionally I come across sites that need me to revert to the dreaded IE, but that is a small price to pay (or not pay, as it's free !!)

Nothing wrong with that. Once we're all using browsers with decent rendering engines, tabbed browsing, and not Microsoft, the web will become an easier to use place - no ActiveX, etc.

I've got Opera, Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape, Camino, Epiphany and K-Meleon across my range of machines. All work better than IE would on the same OS.

Just make sure Opera is reporting its version string as Opera and not Internet Explorer or you'll be distorting statistics too much in IE's favour.

Theres a beta version of Firefox for Windows Mobile phones now, but I don't recommend its use... yet. Its still VERY slow to open. Minimo - i'd watch out for it becoming very popular, as it runs on Windows Mobile and the Linux powered phones.

Tabbed browsing. Is it me or does it not always open a new tab but opens a new window?

I may be missing some setting but think I have it right. Take The Great Cornholio's thread on Albion video clips - I click on the first link - Rod Thomas - and I get a new window. How do I get that as a tab in my current window?

Just noticed Firefox buggers up the Pricerunner advert too.

Right click on the link and select "Open Link in New Tab" from the context menu.

I use Safari on my Mac, much faster and better than IE in my view. No idea which side of the fence MYOB will fall here though...
