I had a few drinks with a friend & his mate last night. His mate was a funny bloke - 4 foot 10 Welsh guy who claimed to be a bit of a poker player. He's not lacking in dollars too. Anyway, when I mentioned I was a Brighton fan he claimed to know Bloom... not much gossip in terms of Bloom himself, but he did mention that we were going to sign an ex-West Ham midfielder who is on trial.

I laughed it off at the time as idle gossip, but looking at it now (without a few beers) it would suggest Danny Spiller is a good bet to be signed
