thing is, on significant issues i was blue. this is the problem for the electroate, each party has a couple of good ideas, done seem to have a broadly agreeable manifesto that people can agree with all ideas. so people defualt to their old favorites. i mean im not going to vote Liberal just because i like the £10k tax allaowance, partially because i know its not funded and also because i cannot support their position on Europe.
maybe, just maybe, a hung parliment and Tory/Lib coalition is the answer?
I'm not surprised at being aligned with the Lib Dems and Greens but I was interested to note just how SHIT Gordon is. I thought I'd at least agree with Labour on a few things
Policies are obviously important in choosing where to vote, but it's your faith in their ability to deal with unforeseen situations as well. For example, at the last election, I'm sure none of the 3 main parties laid out a policy for dealing with a worldwide financial shitfest. Personality also comes into it whether we like to admit it or not.
44% Green, 34% Lib Dem, 11% Labour, 11% Conservative, confirms what I was going to do any way. Also confirms that Labour have very few socialist policies, as that is generally my political leaning.
Labour - 31%
Tories - 29%
Lib Dem - 29%
Green - 11%
However, Gordon Brown being leader incurs a 31% penalty. That means I should vote for Tories/Lib Dem. Funny, considering i'm currently torn between the two!
