Insiders answer to Kev England on ATC

Well we're bidding for 2018 so why not?! Pretty sure we'd need to get capacity up to 40,000 to be considered for that though. No reason that can't happen though - just look at how quickly things change.

Talking from a GEOGRAPHICAL point of view only, if England hosted a world cup I think the south coast would get a venue, so as long as we can get ourselves bigger and better than Southampton by about 2015 then why can't it be us!

You need to factor in Cuntrest and FPC-if we look to add so much as one more seat you can bet your life that that sour faced bag of shit would object.

Wasnt there talk of using Falmer as a training facility/ practice ground by some of the countries competing in the football for the 2012 Olympics, due to its accessibility to London.

Yes, I was just thinking the exact same thing. Probably best to just drop this whole subject and never raise it again until the stadium is done. If FPC and Lewes start worrying about these sorts of possible plans, theyd probably ramp up their efforts and delay things further.

In fact, Ive just totally had a reversal of thought: We should be totally happy with 22,000 seats. Thats plenty for us and we're totally satisfied and have no further thoughts of growing. In fact, any mod can delete this whole thread if they like!
