Pieterson 43*
Collingwood 0*

I left hiome just after Bell had got out, which was a shame as they had been going well. He failed to spot the googly from Kumble and lost the top of his off stump. I can't blame him, UI'm not surprised he didn't pick it. The floodlights were on and quite clearly more effective than the natural light, they shouldn't have even been out there.

Abort, retry, fail
Come on boys.

Incidentally, who would you drop, if and when Tresco and/or Vaughan come back into the team.

I would go for Bell. He fine innings, do not make up for his failures.

Plenty of boundry action from KP as usual.

Well Bell will make way for Vaughan and Tres will come back in at the expense of maybe Strauss??? He seems out of form at the mo !!!

I was impressed by Bell, though his getting out was a mistake and shows he can't be relied on.

Pieterson looking fine. It appears to be a batter's wicket and we really should not have lost our three MAIN batsmen by now.

I wouldn't be surprised if Vaughan retired soon. His knee injury is a recurring one & he doesn't seem able to get over it. Even Fletcher has said it's going to be a big problem for him.

Treso for Captain

I quite agree. Vaughan will retire soon enough which is a damn shame because he's got the telent to have becoe of all England's great players. That tour in Australia a few years back showed some of the best batting I've ever seen and it was against the best seam attack of all time (arguably).

Pieterson gone and they are off for the day by the looks of it.

163/4
Looks of help for the seamers today. Let's hope conditions stay the same for Hoggy to get the ball moving about when we bowl at them. Big day tomorrow. We need to get to 350 really.

Going down the pan for England, despite 51 from Flintoff.

England subsided from an overnight 112-5 to be bowled out for 181 in less than two hours of cricket this morning.
