Correct, of course. The copy as filed said that Leverkusen "topped" the Bundesliga (which they did, in autumn) but the sub-editor must have thought he/she knew better, as they often do. Even though it made nonsense of the rest of the sentence. Ah well.
Three of the dailies (Express, Grauniad, Times) were also at the sit-down with Sami, and we agreed they'd keep some quotes back for their pieces late next week, so there's more to come.
Interestingly, in view of our last manager but one, he refused to talk about Liverpool.
