And that's meant to mean what exactly?

Bored of a conversation that is going nowhere, you asked what my problem was with people wanting to sit in the seats they have paid for, I told you and then you question me as a fan...just a bit crap really!

If the stand is full and you dont sit in the right place that leaves some poor sap running around for an empty seat. Or more likely being seperated from his wife/kid/mates. When I was a steward people getting arsey in the wrong seats were ejected.

Learn to use your f***ing brains.

And when I was a steward we let peple sit where they wanted.

3000 tickets 3000 seats. Not hard is it.

 Exactly. It beggars belief that gerbil is MOANING at this on a day when we completely sold out our allocation.

Well next time I'll tell my 4 year old son that this nice Mr gerbil will look after you all game then, since me taking up my proper seat next to you would inconvenience his mate and we couldn't really have that could we. :nono:

Yea and you find yourself one end of the stand and your 10 year old is at the other end surrounded by "top boys" goading the home fans.

Fine by you is it?

Or he's at the other end of the stand sat next to Desert Orchid.

Sit where you like is fine when there are 1200 of us in a stand for 3000 but when every ticket is sold then you have to go where your ticket says.
When the stewards made us all sit down one lady hadn't got a seat. She was with a small boy. Fortunately there was a spare seat on our row almost behind him so she sat there instead and not too far away from her husband and son.

So why would you go in without your son anyway?

I wouldn't.

So you'd make your 11 year old sit the other end of the away section in case you incovencied some tosser in his seat? You sound like a class act.

Besides which, I'm talking about a FOUR year old.

Oh, I see his point now! 5 minutes before kickoff they should try and find the spare seats in the away end because you have decided to sit in their seat!

I assume that when you visit Withdean you just plonk yourself down wherever takes your fancy!!

When exactly did I say that?

You can slate me for not agreeing with you about this but DO NOT call me a bad parent.

Strangely I find myself in agreement with Looney although Yorkie's explanation is the most sensible thing I have seen on here for a while, Simster's too.

Gerbil, consider yourself owned. Consult Watford O for advice on blowing your top, or enigma on advice about crying about it.

I put forward a hypothetical situation where I was with my 4 year old son but had to sit elsewhere, to which you responded that it was OK because he would be sitting next to an 11 year old I don't even know. Is that the best you can do? ???

As happened to my 13 year old daughter today. All told to sit, but daughter left standing. When asked why not sitting was because somebody else sitting in her seat. He did (apologise) move.

I looked up to see what I could of the incident, but we were on the attack at the time, so I couldn't be bothered.

The stewards had quite a hard time getting us to sit down again.
