Is it not possible that Hyppia may just see qualities in Ince that we don't for playing CB? I know between us all we like to think we know a fair bit but ultimately our manager is a Champions League winning centre back. Maybe he can help develop Ince.

Ince has always looked a CB for me, he will replace Dunk this year for sure.

I doubt very few people have watched Ince at CB as he played in the DS squad. I thought he played well.

I really enjoyed watching Ince in midfield last year. For the most part he was good with glimpses of brilliance as well as some poor touches, passes and decisions. He is young though. I anticipate he'll develop into an exceptional championship midfielder or maybe even a Premier League player. I'll be disappointed if he is not in our 1st 11 as a midfielder. I am a big fan. This rumour comes out of us having a tiny squad at present. We'll have at least half a dozen new players by the time the transfer window closes plus an additional 3/4 good loans who will be starters. I'm sure we'll have at least two quality centre backs to replace El Abd & Upson, let Ince develop into a midfield general.
