This joke is about 5 days old. Do you really really think this would not have been posted on NSC by now....

Who wants to do the 'clap' gag?

Frankly, I can't be bothered.

No. having one for an alcoholic, kidney-wasting wifebeater like george Best was just silly. for five local girls it seems appropriate

the ability to laugh at murder is what makes this country great....

This minutes silence shit is bollocks.... and everyone knows it. For people who make a difference then fair enough, but there has to be a limit. It's very sad, but people get murdered more than we recognise - why are these girls special?

Why doesn't every game of football now just have a minutes silence "for anyone who died since our last game". Seriously

I believe one of the last minute's silences Leeds were involved in was at Millwall for George Best.

If their sensitivity at Ipswich is anything like it was that day (called off after 20 secs for abusive singing), we'll all be reading about it on Sunday morning.

To be fair, that'd probably be a bit cheaper now than it was two weeks ago.

This is a concept that the Albion lead the way on; so much so that we regularly have a full 90 minutes silence at EVERY home game :jester:
