Beasent was PANTS, and Packham is only in there for a joke anyway

Henderson WAS better than Blayney

and Roberts WASNT better than Kuipers at his peek

(in my opinion).

how on EARTH was beasent PANTS samuel? that is utter BOLLOCKS

blayney, the FIRST TIME he was here, was FAR better than henderson was, we made a MISTAKE by not signing him

roberts played in the PREMIERSHIP, kuipers DID NOT, roberts was FAR, FAR better than kuipers(hence mr. coppell made him his number 1, not kuipers)

Not in that order but those would probably be mine too. I did think Nicky Rust was quite good though, mainly because I had his autograph. :clap2:

Hither (sometimes Thither)
I'd love to shout:
GIVE US A BIGGERS DIGGERS
again.
Maybe to Perry Digweed rather than to some tramp i spot spilling his enormous brown beans on a park bench or through the gap in a tyred swing.

Seaford's finest, Mr Powney was the best total goalkeeper I ever saw play for us, but Kuipers is the best shot stopper.

Kuipers is the best I've seen. Just as important as Zamora in winning back to back championships. He's the Gary Hart of the goalkeeping world. And I'm not that young either. Would loved to have seen the North Stand at the Goldstone in full swing behing Kuipers...would have scared the shit out of any striker in the world:smokin:

High up on the South Downs.
Ben Roberts is my number one.

Powney was the smallest.

Cartwright was the worst keeper to keep Kuipers out probably.

Steele did the best Groucho impression.

Blayney not much good.

Beeney and Sidebottom very good.

Our two England international keepers of course

Big Dave Beasant

and even bigger Joe Corrigan

Shame Joe Corrigan was past his best and I think put in one excellent performance, old stager taking a last payday with best years well behind him. No bow from me

Peter Grummitt was my favourite of all time but Graham Moseley was probably the best of all the keepers whilst here, he did it at the very top level. No-one since has been good enough to do that , Beeney included, and Roberts was too injury prone to last more than a few games a season.

Dave Hollins would always be my no1,with Eric Gill,Brian Powney,Joe Corrigan, and Mose not far behind. Our current keepers could carry their bags, though NOT lace their boots.

In my opinion...if I'M allowed to have one given some of the attitudes on display in South Stand E Block yesterday:

Grummitt
Moseley
Powney
Sidebottom
Kuipers

All experienced goalkeepers when I saw them. Young keepers have it tougher, so lots of time for Henderson to get there but as of now he's some way back in my list.
