Thanks but she won't, afaik it's rock-solid Tory. She's really only there so that people can vote for a Lib-Dem if they wish

In all seriousness she would actually make a very good councillor. She's always getting involved in campaigns for this or that, usually as some sort of co-ordinator and/or spokesperson, and she can talk the hind leg off a donkey. Local politics should be about electing people who can deal with local issues, sadly of course it's usually used as a glorified opinion poll for the Westminster parliament.

Plus I'm not sure what expenses local councillors get but it's time someone else had a turn at the trough. Got to think of her old age.
