Yes, yes, ok, I think most of us have gathered from your insinuations over the years that there was some sort of sexual contact between Terry Connor and Sarah Watts and/or Liz Costa. Jeez. You allude to it every time one of those three names crop up on here. Give it a rest, eh?

I used to see Terry Connor and his wife down George Street in the 80's. For Mrs Connor think Halle Berry, bearing in mind the two contenders , enough said.

A proper striker, quick, skillful, strong, direct, tricky and could be relied on for goals. Very good player.

Yes TC really was that good, one of my all time favourites, even named my dog after him, had the same never say die attitude & determination. TC could always be relied upon to get the crowd up & roaring. Sometimes too quick for his own good, would make a brilliant run only to stand on the ball & trip up just as he was about to strike it or pass, also so quick others couldn't always keep up so had no one to pass to. Such a shame he never made good when he went to Pompey, don't know what they did to him but seemed to be plagued by injuries.

He was immense, if I could sum him up in one word it would be 'bustling'.

Isn't Matt Murray playing for a Wolves Legends 11 against an all star team?? I have seen some of the people playing for the 'all stars' and they could well be had by trading standards considering the people in there, they're not even household names in their own homes.

This is true. The all stars have Marcus Hannemann, Andy Cole, Dion Dublin and a load of C-list actors. Nevertheless, Matt Murray is a proper legend in these parts and, to top it off, I've met him a couple of times and he is a genuine nice guy. The Wolves team have Matt Murray, Dennis Irwin, Paul Ince, Mick McCarthy, Terry Connor and Adi Akinbyi playing for them.

C List??

Here is the squad, anyone who can name what more than four of the 'all stars' other than former footballers do will win a pint of blackcurrant squash with me in the Ship Inn.

All Stars Squad: Steve Bull (manager), Dion Dublin, Andy Cole, Ian Taylor, Geoff Horsfield, Marcus Hahnemann, Brian Deane, Elliott Tittensor, Matt Lapinskas, Tony Discipline, Danny Young, Steve Froggatt, Mark Rhodes and DJ Spoony, 'The Colonel' Darryl Clegg, George Sampson, Barry Pittaway, Ben Ryan Davies, Will Rush and Jack McMullen, Kano, Jordan Stewart, Anthony Quinlan, Nico Mirallegro, Dan Jillings, Julian Windsor and Jon Hague.

Took some time to get into his stride, but a cracking all round player , big hearted, fast, always gave his best. Shame he was cup tied in 1983 for the cup run. I wonder if the supporters club will be running a special minibus to watch the match he is appearing in?

Shame NSC doesn`t have a bike shed that you can go and snigger behind like a naughty schoolboy.
