you'd think so, but it doesnt seem to be happening. theres a couple of issues going on this week, cryptokitties killing the rival Ethereum, and NiceHash getting hacked with lose of $60m of coins. both are largely ignored, press on, next week we go to the mooooon. a few weeks ago you could barely even use Bitcoin with transactions taking hours and costs <$10, but it shrugged that off and here we are past 15k today. there's collective optimistic denial in the community, a view that every issue will be fixed, its new technology, etc.
