As a newcomer to this forum I don't want to intrude but....

I think people are justifiably a bit peeved about today's events.

Season ticket holders/regular supporters should be entitled to some kind of preferntial treatment when it comes to ticket allocation. Shouldn't we be treated as valued 'customers' and not be expected to queue for six hours only to find out that the tickets we wanted have already been sold ?

It seems the club just wanted to shift as many tickets as they could in the shortest possible time. Now, that's OK and understandable in our current financial situation but IMHO they shoouldn't lose sight of their obligations to what they should regard as their 'loyal custumers'. That seems to me to be good business sense as well as being the right thing to do.

Any S/T holder has a right to be pi$$ed off with the way the club treat them but wait for Falmer and the commercial reality of the club will have to change for the better.

True enough - but we should not get the scale of the offence to ST holders too much out of proportion. The damage was that you might had to settle for a £32 or £40 ticket instead of the £46 one you might have wanted.

Small beer really.

The club will look at today and learn the lessons. The great thing is most of these lessons will be very positive - that once Falmer is built, THEY WILL COME.

I chose to buy a £32 ticket because I couldn't afford a £46 ticket. According to Laughing Bluebird I have got a good seat anyway.
