Just to add insult to injury, it is possible for that lot to finish above us as well.Sending hugs to you as well.
Just ban any Palace instantly except for the longstanding nice ones, we all know who the nice ones are.
FFS, Palace have just won the FA cup, I've decided I'm definitely living in some f**ked up parallel universe when you take the rest of it into consideration!![]()
Don't like to add to the gloom but they could easily win the Community Shield as well!!!Sending hugs to you as well.

If they do I bet they burn it.Don't like to add to the gloom but they could easily win the Community Shield as well!!!
Well if they do, as they're such a community based club they should Ebay the cup & then give any prize money straight to the people they ripped off when they went into administration.Don't like to add to the gloom but they could easily win the Community Shield as well!!!
At this stage (I love the term 'at this stage', it future proofs being wrong) I am not convinced of next season being one for which I hold much confidence or despair. All of the teams currently below Albion could make a case for having a far better season than this. Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur will not have another season where they gave up the ghost so early and concentrated on one trophy. Then comes West Ham who are 15 points behind us. That isn't a lot over a break between seasons. Thus, again 'at this stage', Albion find themselves with just as much potential to be rattling around at the bottom as the top end.As a neutral with a soft spot for Albion and without sounding patronising I think as a club, team on and off the field and a fan base you’re in a fantastic stable position and only a bit of fortune and good luck away from having another day in the sun.
Brentford, Bournemouth, Fulham, Palace and my team will be fire fighting throughout the whole of next season and don’t be surprised if one or two of the aforementioned are thrashing about towards the bottom of the league as the bigger teams will plunder and weaken each squad, I also expect two or three managerial changes, Brighton are in a much much better place with a better squad and a strong starting XI money to spend and will only sell if it suits ( or if bank of Chelsea are willing to part with big money).
Sit tight and hang in and it will be all the sweeter when BHA pick up silverware.

You are only ever and end of season break away from doing a Leicester City. But you are also only an end of season break away from doing a... Leicester City. The finest example of extremes.
As for the teams coming up, there is much talk of the gulf between the leagues now and I think this is largely down to Wolves, Brentford, Bournemouth, Fulham, Forest ourselves and Crystal Palace having, unusually, all done well in their transfer activities. It means that instead of bringing in a few wise bargains and going into a group of about eight teams who could be expected to be looking over their shoulders, the promoted teams have to jump two levels. The gulf hasn't got wider, the listed teams just got smarter.
Indeed, but as a fan base this board alone demonstrates we resilient enough to handle the odd dip in our progression. At this stage you might be right.
In all seriousness Brighton are way ahead of the teams around that we’ve both mentioned, the structure of the club from top to bottom is set up to succeed on the flip side a couple of bad windows in and out could see a dip in performance and results but at this stage ( you’re right it is a good get out of jail term) the higher ups at BHA are about as good as it gets.
That wouldn’t bother me in the least, I put that down as a Micky Mouse CupDon't like to add to the gloom but they could easily win the Community Shield as well!!!
The 1974 Charity Shield was fun. That wouldn’t bother me in the least, I put that down as a Micky Mouse Cup
Money making pre season friendly
Not convinced I have ever watched one with any interest at all, in fact I don’t even remember watching it.
I am cheering myself up about Saturday remembering Coventry, Wimbledon, Wigan and Portsmouth have all won the FA Cup. Where are they now?
