Was venting my frustration about yesterday's result to a Liverpool friend yesterday and he sent me this to cheer me up! It's a true story and comes from a senior source he knows at the Anfield giants.
" Of the many things Houllier got wrong he got a few right too. Prescott turned up on match day with a possee of foreign dignitaries who wanted to see the mighty reds play.
Tickets were allocated of course and they had a reception in the
directors box. Prescott decided to prove his power and show off by popping into the changing room before the game to wish the players well. A junior director agreed and walked in sheepishly in the middle of Ged's team talk.
You can gusess the rest, the deputy PM probably already knew the french for 'I don't give a f*** who you are get out of my changing room you fat bastard! (Or words to that effect)"
