Does it have to be someone in our Division, or not...if not, then I suspect the thread will fill up with names like Ronaldo, Deco and Gerrard.

If it could be anybody then I would go for Kaspar Schmeichel, if he is half as good as his dad then he will be a pretty good keeper oneday and he isn't shabby now...would make a fine replacement for FDM when he hangs his gloves up and fill the number 1 position for the next decade or so.

In this division it would have to be Eugene Biopp of Crewe, which would be realistic but any player, in a dream fantasy, then it would have to be a world star like Christano Ronaldo.

If we had the money then not signing SG was definitely a missed opportunity IMO.

Maybe his style doesn't suit the thoughtful, long ball punting game we seem to be developing though, so I'd go for Johnny Wilkinson if he's available.
