If the worst thing happened and we did make the drop back to the bottom level of footie...would it be time for wilkins to go?

Or stayed up by the skin of our teeth...would it still be a very poor season and time for wilkins to stay or go?

Stay, regardless of what happens, he is starting to rebuild the team and I reckon a lot of this will take place during the summer...what would be the point of replacing him when the job has only just begun.

If he takes us down though...That would surely warrant a replacement..considering our performances are poo and the players we have are quite easily good enough to stay up!

If only people had thought the same way when McGhee was rebuilding this season, his sacking set the club back a few years imho

if we go down then he should still be in charge and see how he gets on in the 1st 10 games or so.

Why the laugh, what has the sacking of McGhee actually acheived, are we better no , are we pkaying better no, are we seeing goals no, are we seeing wins at home no, do we have better players in no, have we had more success in the transfer market no, are we in a better league position no, are the crowds up no

apart from that it was a great decision

Fully agree with post...Mcghee should still be in charge in my opinion.

I didnt have confidence in him from the start and he is proving that he's not up to the job in question.

I hope he does turn it around because dropping again will be awful for the fans and club in general and a massive step backwards from what we acheived to fight out of that division.

especially in a lower division, I find it incredulous that nearly 50% of people would want to keep him if he relegates us to Div 4, still its probably McGhees fault anyway if that happens

Playing better football... Personally I might just say yes on that one.

Have we had more success in the transfer window... Yes definately.

Goals, league position isn't totally down to Wilkins nor McGhee that is the bigger picture, i.e. money / Falmer. As for the crowds well they were falling under McGhee i'm afraid.

The laugh was McGhee had lost the crowd and the players, I can't believe anyone still misses the guy... you're not Bob Booker are you?:D

Surely the manner of relegation is important here?

Surrender meekly like last season and, yes, Wilkins job should be on the line. But force it to a last day thriller like 2002/03 season and maybe not.

It's important to remember we've played most of the season without Hinsh and Paul Reid, so when those guys come back fully fit we'll have some backbone.

Personally I think we'll come out of this a better side and we'll manager to stay up. In some respects a relegation scrap might be the making of some of these players (not that I'd want that for one moment).

playing better football, this is the worst football at home by far of the 8 seasons at Shitedean, absolutely woeful

how , please explain have we had more success in the transfer window, we have sign half a dozen players no one else wants

goals / league position is entirely down to wilkins as he picks the team, fomrations, subs, team talk and motivation, money does not do that and falmer does not do that

the crowds under McGhee were much higher in the 3 home games than wilkins

but why had Mcghee lost the crowd, for some reason he was treated in the most despicable manner I have ever witnessed and the last laugh is on him as we are in a much much worse position now than we ever were when he was in charge

please try again
