South Wales (im not welsh !!)
Everyone to there own opinion, but (and my good lady agrees with me whole heartedly on this one) of all the places we have been to, and thats MANY, as we tend to make a weekend away of it, as well as watching the football, BLACKPOOL, was about the worst trip we had been on, admittedly it was on an easter weekend, and was very packed (as you would expect any seaside town to be) and i agree we got played off the park as far as football goes (having said that, ive seen us play worse :p ) we stayed up there for 3 days, and to be honest, couldnt get away from there quick enough on the bank holiday monday, to put it mildly, (in our humble opinion !!) THE PLACE IS A DUMP (and im quite sure the blackpool tourist board wont be asking me to quote an opinion, in this summers guide book !!!) and also, ive met quite a few people who went there and they were of simaler opinion, so based on the above, lets hope we stay up eh :lolol: :lolol:

Blackpool is horrible.

There's plenty of Yorkshire grounds there, Rotherham, Donny, Barnsley and Huddersfield so could make a weekend of those visiting the in laws.

I quite fancy Yeovil and we haven't seen Jonah since he left.

I remember that Friday night game down there, when it finished 2-2 (scary night that one)

Oh yes I remember that game well, I went on the Costa Express for my sins and will never forget as we hit the Swansea City limits in the bus the sight of three small children giving us the middle finger.

We were warned not to wander too far from the ground so I headed straight for the turnstiles, it was a really hostile atmosphere that night for some reason and our black right back (Keith?) got rascially abused all night, during the second half a Welsh inbred ran on the ptch and assaulted him, anybody else witness it?

You ever been to Swansea for football?

A return to the 1970s.......I remember a game 1-1 i think...where the Swansea fans were running across the pitch to get in our section whilst the game was still in progress

Doncaster and Yeovil for me ..two of the last seven to complete all league grounds

Ain't that the truth.

I remember one year we played them opening game of the season and they had no police on duty in the ground. They scored and they were on the pitch trying to get over the fence into the away end. The police appeared fairly pronto.

That Friday night game, ah the memories. We got chucked out of out B&B at 1030pm due to an incident. Managed to find our way back in at about 2am, sneak out at 730am, come back an hour later and demand our money back...

I had a very pleasant weekend in Blackpool in June, but then there was no football involved and the Scots seem easily pleased with Blackpool!!!

I think it was Micky Bennett that was taking all the abuse that night. I remember some bloke running on to the pitch, then i am sure some woman joined him swinging her handbag:lolol:

Mind you when we equalised with a couple of minutes to go, the Swans fans sung your'e gonna get your f***ing heads kicked in with such venom ( early 80's style)that come the final whistle me & my mate ran all the way back to the car that was parked in the County Council car park (and we weren't the only ones.

After we equalised Johnson nearly won it with a 30 yard screamer. Not sure we would have got out of the place if that had gone in.

I fancy a nice trip to Yeovil. no I dont know why either

Its a subliminal thing.

1)Loads of Cider

2)A chance to drive past Stonehenge and so get a reminder of Priestfield Stadium.

3)Loads of Cider.

4)It's near to the centre of the Universe,or Taunton as it's known locally.

Yes, I remember that night. For once I was glad to have a security fence in front of me. As for grounds to visit, I've never been to Forest and I'd probably visit Yeovil and Doncaster's new ground, which should be open by then. As for the rest, I don't think I could be bothered. I was at both 4-0 mullerings by Brentford and I don't think I fancy a third.

I haven't actually seen us play at Swansea but we were visiting friends in Swansea the day they were at home to Birmingham City in the mid 90s. We actually walked past the Vetch prior to the game.

It was kicking off all over the place! (I was quite concerned for my wife and young kids) Both sets of fans were wild!

The local paper was full of Friday/Saturday night rucks. Far more than the Argus! Apparently it happens all the time in Swansea.

it depends on how we are doing. If we start off ok, then I will probably do a few, if not then I wont.

Of course with London Irish hopefully finishing in the top 4 of the premiership, we will have Heineken Rugby to look forward to:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :drink: :drink: :drink:
