No way Gatting will go. Who is going to want a youth team player who hasn't yet scored a senior goal?

CKR will stay. Hasn't yet proved himself.

Frutos could go, but not sure he will have done enough to impress anyone.

Carole is most likely to go.

Henderson will stay, but could go in a year if he maintains his form.

Hammond? If he continues to play as well as he did yesterday some bigger clubs could come calling.

El Abd? Ditto.

Spot on. Also if Hinsh plays well he could go. I can see Hull coming in for him.

My source for this information is 100% reliable. His agent is trying to engineer a move to the prem, although I agree, it is very long shot.

I don't doubt what you are saying, all agents are on the look out to improve their clients's situation and not coincidentally earn themselves some nice fees while doing so. It will be just interesting to see who will pay up our valuation of him, which I think will be pretty high, given what we held out for with Virgs and Harding.

Like everything with this club at the moment it will be down to money.

If LDC lose and give in we could begin to stabilise if they choose to go to House of Lords or European Law etc it will cost us more money. The only way to find that money will be to sell more players sad buta fact of life.

Let's hope LDC suddenly see sense.

Lewes have already stated they will not pursue another stage - the campaign against their financing of the appeal at least got that victory.

Henderson will not go he wants first team football, MCShane will return to Old Trafford if we go down.

However apart from Carole would we lose anyone else...i doubt it

Frutos, maybe some interested parties but will they meet our valuation ???

Hammond, not yet proved himself as a consistant championship performer

Hinsh, no-one will come in for him until he has had at least half a season after a bad injury like that

CKR, still not proved he is up to this level yet

And why the hell would Robinson go ???

On the whole i think our squad would largly be uneffected next season IF we go down.... however that season will be critical...if we don't go straight back up THEN i believe we will start to lose our best players

I can't see any clubs bidding for any of our players except Carole.

It seems we have had to sell players during the last two seasons to be able to survive financially. In that case I don't think it will be a case of whether they meet our valuation. More likely we will consider the highest offer on any player whether they are considered part of our future plans or not.

Carole, is the one who has attracted interest from the likes of Blackwell at Leeds. I would think offers in excess of £250k would get him.

Frutos, might be of interest to CCC clubs, but our valuation, might be an issue. Though this would depend upon length of contract etc.

Mayo - Free
McShane - Back to Man U.
McGammon - Free

I don't know much about who would stay or go, but the comment about someone who is relegated for the Championship not being good enough for that league or the Premiership doesn't always apply. Mike Pollitt who was relegated with Rotherham now plays for Wigan in, you've guessed it, the Premiership. He certainly hasn't looked out of his depth in a team that is "punching above its' weight" and is probably one of their better players.

That said I think the majority of our team would stay, the problems with keeping them might arise if we set the first division alight for the first couple of months of the season. Even if we did go down I think Paul McShane would probably still want to come here permanently, though sadly I can see him ending up somewhere like Reading.

Out of the squad I could see Henderson and if Carole learned to cross finding anither championship side.

CKR and Fruity are maybes

I shouldnt think anyone else would, apart from Mccammon who would sign for man utd.

I have it on very good authority that Carole's agent is looking for a move to the premiership for him. It looks certain he will not be here next season.
EVERY agent looks to put their clent in the Premiership - they wouldn't be doing their job if they didn't. That is very far from saying he is certain to go. I am still not convinced another club will come in for him, irresepective of how hard his agent works at it.

Of the rest of the squad, many are still under contract. Henderson has only just signed, and has another two years left on his contract - his staying is a no-brainer. Any club could have picked him up for £30,000 in January. And out of that anyone - it was us, promising him first-team football. He is staying.

I am not convinced about Fruty going. In fact, I'd reckon he certainly won't go. Hasn't quite done enough.

CKR has done nothing like enough to encourage another club to come in for him. Again, he is still on contract for another two years. No-one would be prepared to risk the silly money the Albion would be asking for on an unproven, albeit, promising talent.

I do believe that the club will do what it can to keep Paul McShane. He likes it here, he likes working with McGhee. I hope Man Utd will be benevolent enough to let us have him for what, £250k?

Of the rest, I reckon, assuming their contracts are up...
Out: FDM, Trolley, Jarrett, McPhee, Chaigneau
Unsure: Chippie, Mayo, Robinson

I think that we may be able to keep our better players until at least the January transfer window and see how we are doing. If we look like going up in January then players like Carole and Frutos could be tempted to stay. They have both done well and it would be great to watch them against League 1 defenders especially if we could find a target man. Henderson will stay having only just signed. Nobody came in for him in January so it is unlikely they will in the summer at a much higher price.

In terms of releasing players I would try to have a clear out. Releasing at least Dodd, G. Elphick (as other young players have moved above him), Nicolas, McCammon and McPhee. Chaigneau and McShane will probably return to their clubs. I would also make Kuipers, Jarrett and Molango available for transfer. That would be the minimum and I would sign at least the elusive target man, a central defender and a left back.
