in Iraq (not that he would be foolish enough to go there anyway)

Would our Prime Minister still not negotiate with terrorists?

???

It's a bit like burglers. Who is more to blame; The people that rob your home or the people that buy the stolen gear? If no one bought stolen gear it would end robberies over night.

Is that this Euen Blair?

Prime Minister Tony Blair's 16-year-old son Euan has been arrested for being drunk and incapable.
The teenager, who was celebrating the end of his GCSE exams, was found by police officers in Leicester Square, in London's West End, at about 2300 BST on Wednesday.

The incident comes just days after Tony Blair suggested on the spot fines for drunken and disorderly behaviour.

As you said why whould he even be there. However if by some quirk of fate he decided to go there on holiday instead of the Med, and he was kidnapped I belive that he would not negotiate. I do belive though that he would maybe hand over control of the situation to JP because anything he did would be wrong.

By this i mean if he chose to negotiate he would be called a hypercrit, if he didn't he would be called a bad father.

If he's human, that's a question he and Cherie must have asked themselves in private over the past fortnight. I'm guessing the potential for a secret deal would be that much higher.

I was thinking the same thing, whilst watching Question Time last night.

Except I was wondering what the outcome would be if a member of the royal family was kidnapped! (unlikely I know)

Played football with Ewan Blair down here in Bristol - nice enough lad, not a very good footballer though..... not surprisingly he had all the gear, but no idea !

Indeed - Blair is quite happy to order the killing of thousands of Iraqis and is more than happy for other people's loved ones to be placed in harm's way, but he wouldn't allow his own family to be in danger. War-mongerers never do - death and killing is fine for them, as long as they don't have to deal with it personally.

After reading the title of this thread, I thought it was going to continue...

"...do you think we'd be able to ransom him for a Falmer approval?"
