more alice bands holding back long greasy mops of hair, and lots of hands in the air gestures to the ref every time he blows the whistle.

No we wouldn't want any players who could make the Argentinian national team would we

Since i have followed the Albion we have played:-

For many seasons in blue Shirts with white sleeves/white shorts (ala Eddie Spearitt) and then blue shorts (ala Ken Beamish)

Then we went to all white (just a season i think)

Then the stripes with blue shorts (Wardy).

Then all blue (Fozzie)

and back to the stripes with white shorts.

Whilst I accept the shade of blue can vary slightly I will not accept it going to sky blue to give us an Argentina style kit.

I cannot believe people 'fans' are actually advocating this change.

Does it matter what shade of blue though?

yes it matters. we're not huddersfield or argentina which is who we'll get confused for it we change.

I dunno what I've missed as I've been away the last couple of weeks but does anyone actually know for sure the design of the new shirt or is this all speculation?

I've aleady pre-ordered my shirt regardless of what it looks like and when I rang the order thru I was told that they should be in the shop early August (and b4 eveyone starts laughing thats just what they told me!). the lady said it would be in time for the 1st home game but I won't hold me breath!

If that really is it then I'll be happy to wear that (much better than the last home shirt).

I ordered mine a while ago as I'd wear the shirt regardless of the design but I'd be pleased if it is a style i really liked like the centenary shirt which was fantastic (unfortunatelt I can't wear mine as it's signed and framed and hanging on the dining-room wall).

The last shirt was a bit dissapointing - always looked like the design was thrown together and the SKINT logo was awful

If it is to be light blue then the club have f***ed up big time-all other merchandising is in proper Royal Blue (shades thereof). The new 'Commemorative Pennant' is Royal Blue.

If the new shirt is an Argie rip-off, I for one won't be buying one. All previous blue shirts have had some continuity by using shades of Royal Blue-if I want a light blue shirt I'll support Man City or Coventry.

Pretty hopeful that this is yet one more NSC wind-up:rolleyes:

im gonna wait till i see it - but if change is going to happen, then it happens, theres not really that much that happens if some people moan about it. the colours have slightly been changing throughout all the kits anyway.

look on the upside - more people will buy the shirts as they are different = money for the club.
