Will you be pissed off?

I think it would be great as I love the Argentina kit, we'd be keeping the stripes, and the club would make a fortune as the new kit would be so different from the old. Everyone would have to buy one or be soooooo last season :clap2:

It would be crap. It is one thing to move away from the badge, but to change the clubs colours would be wrong. It is OK for provincial clubs like Reading and Gillingham to do things like change their colours, but we do have some history and the blue and white stripes are part of that.

Does it matter what shade of blue though?

I am still undecided.

I did hear the logo was printed wrongly and we do seem to be jumping to conclusions.

Move with the times Uncle Buck, if the new kit is the same as the old no-one will buy it and the club don't get extra money.

We can revert to the Brighton blue with the next kit.

Imo it's all about money for the club not some stuffy "don't change anything let's live in the past attititude".

Will it also mean that we will see more rolling around and play acting in the coming season? What about a few 'hand of God' goals? That might keep us up

If we are going to move with the times then lets change it completely and play in a nice shade of red. Think of the lack of interest when the club have moved away from Blue and White stripes, that pin stripped effort in the early 90's and the Super League thing in the 97/98 season.

Sorry but we play in something akin to royal blue and white stripes and we should stick with that. Sky blue is the colour of a team like Coventry. If they do change it then it is wrong. The way to keep people interested is to make sure the new kit is not the same as the last one, if that is by adding a collar then fine, changing the sponsor or moving to a decent kit manufacture. But not changing the colour, would you see Arsenal doing that? Answer NO.

Wont pass judgement until i've seen it, personally though I prefer the darker blue we have now. But as has been said already, if the stripes are lighter then its a good marketing ploy by the club to sell more shirts...as in people will want to buy it as its new and slightly different.

Besides we've had the darker blue for a few seasons now so a change is in order.

I wouldnt personally be that fussed if they made the shade of blue a bit lighter, Im all for something slightly different, especially as it will bring in extra cash.

This is'nt a major "lets drop the stripes an dplay in pink!" type shirt, this is a slight difference to the Blue (*IF* it is actually changing at all). Changing the collar wont make people buy the new shirt anymore (I know people who did'nt get the last shrt because the collar was shit), sponsor and maybe kit manufacturer yes but with the latter comes a change in kit so its obvious.
As said above, this is a marketing ploy and a good one to sell more shirts

Crap decision if they do it as that blue is part of the clubs heritage.
