I reckon Bronby enter the Conference League in the second qualifying round. The draw for that is on 18th June 2025, so if Palace are to be demoted to the Conference League, UEFA will need to overcome that hurdle before that date.

This is why UEFA can’t allow Palace a reprieve for the rule breaking. It sets a precedent.

❌ 🇮🇪 Drogheda United might be KICKED OUT of the 2025/26 Conference League - QR2 due to multi-club ownership with 🇩🇰 Silkeborg.

💲 🇺🇸 Trivela Group owns both clubs.

📈 🇩🇰 Silkeborg would keep their Conference League - QR2 spot due to finishing higher in the league.

❌ 🇮🇪 Ireland could NOT enter a replacement, as no other club secured UEFA licence.

🔸 Likely resolution if 🇮🇪 Drogheda United are kicked out before the QR1 draw is made:

📈 🇮🇪 Shamrock Rovers move from the 2025/26 Conference League - QR1 to QR2.

📈 🇦🇱 Dinamo City move from the 2025/26 Conference League - QR1 to QR2.

✅ 🇮🇪 Drogheda United secured European spot by winning the 2024 FAI Cup.

Matt Lawton does make a very good point, that selling his 43% share with 25% voting rights will make it very difficult to sell to anyone.

Quite, and reinforces the argument that whilst those shares represent 43% of Palace equity the owner, even if sold, will only have 25% control of the club.

This is further complicated by EUFA rules. In one section they refer to shares held and in other sections they refer to 'voting shares'. As far as I can see there is nothing in the rules to define the difference between the two.

For all practical purposes does the owner of 43% equity in a company but just 25% of voting rights have more control of that company than someone with 29% of both equity and voting rights?

If, as reported by Sky, the final adjudication of Palace's entry has been passed to an independent panel then I imagine this will be one of the key arguments.

If UEFA enforce their rules, Palace have to be kicked out.
If they don’t enforce their rules, I think the fat Greek bloke will sue them.
And, maybe even Tony Bloom.

Both changed their shareholding of clubs in different ways, to conform with the same UEFA Rules that Palace have breached.

As I said earlier, I think because it is two owners who have probably lost money to conform with the rules, within the deadlines, that will count against Palace.
It’s now, according to Sky Sports news, gone to an independent review.

I believe that UEFA will choose the path of least resistance, and kick Palace out because, in the long run, it’s easier for UEFA to do that. They can also justify it, because, by Textor trying to flog off his shares now, he’s more or less admitted he’s at fault.
If UEFA could relegate Palacevto the Conference League I think they would have done that, but because of Bronby they can’t. I’m glad about that, I really think Palace could win it, as should any English team who enters it. Also, as we have seen with various sackings at the Albion, Tony Bloom can be pretty ruthless when it comes to the benefit of the club.

Sorry I've missed it earlier - could you post a link to that rule?
