How did that go down when he got home? Or is there a reason you knew him?
It was a couple of years before I started playing at this club, so I’ve just gone into my ex-players’ WhatsApp group to verify and get details of the story. The bloke in question was a mate of a player who decided to come along just for the boozing. I asked what happened to him on his return, but he hasn’t been seen since. The rugby-playing mate who he came along with reckons his wife did a Fred West on him.

Surely the only wriggle room they have is that they’ll claim Textor Does not have controlling voting rights….
As said before…. How can you not and have a massive minority share….
Anyway, I’m looking forward to taking my place in the safe standing area next season…..
Sorry thread derailed 😂

I'm pretty sure we confirmed European football later than they did. We qualified for EL on the last game of the season. They had at least 2 weeks after that. We followed the rules, they got cocky.

How on earth can you obviously know the rules about multi club ownership but basically think to yourself ah fk it we're never going to win fk all so who cares?

It astounds me that these super rich people haven't a ounce of common sense and I suppose just think they'll get away with it or sell their Women's team to themselves for 200 million quid.

I actually think Palace should be allowed to play as they beat a team in the final that should of been lobbed out the league last season for a multitude of law breaking ,but if i was to guess their fate right now I'd say they're now screwed.

Of course we all know nothing will come of this, but it's so much fun watching them lose their minds over nothing. Someone now seems to be theorising that Chelsea may have fixed the results on the final day of the French League to ensure that they and not Strasbourg qualified for the Europa league (which they're not in. They're in the ECL).

Whilst this theory is obviously completely sane and utterly reasonable, it does overlook that, even Chelsea aren't incompetent enough not to have realised the potential risk and taken action. They had actually been talking to Uefa since January about a blind trust model for Strasbourg that was sufficient to the requirements should it be needed. :ROFLMAO:
