Last season thought Federici was the best goalkeeper...liked Speroni....but in a very defensive team so had a lot of back up.....17th....tut tut!

Hang on, if Speroni is the best keeper in the league how shite must their defence be to end up 17th? Didn't they also use rather dour defensive tactics as well?

We keep getting told they were experimenting most of last season.

Maybe they'll experiment themselves to relegation next year?

Speroni is prob better than 10 first choice keepers in the Prem let alone our league. We are very lucky to have him and he is settled here. So in answer to the OP's question, no, not even close.

A year or two ago I would have agreed with you without hestitation, but he is 'losing it' a bit now. Still one of the top 3 in the Championship and you have done very well to keep him with you for so long as there must have been enquiries from other clubs.

Federici was the best keeper in the league last season.

You have to admire Palace fans for the unswerving belief that their bunch of mid to low end Championship players are seemingly all the 'best in the division' in their respective positions... brilliant.

Not the real one
Speroni is a good keeper, probably in his prime a few seasons ago. Tomasz Küszcackvhlub is 3 years younger and has been at a top top club, getting taught by the country's best coaches. Speroni has been at Palace on the other hand.

Too funny. He might well be the best, but "not even close"? Do me a favour. Need we remind you that your tin pot team finished 17th. That is below even Millwall, who were fighting relegation all season.

So Speroni is one of the BEST keepers in the country, Zaha is the single BEST player in the Championship, although Williams is even BETTER, Clyne is the BEST full back in the division, Gardner one of the BEST centre backs and Freedman is a shining light amongst up and coming young managers? The failure of this incredible array of talent to actually WIN many matches, really is an incredible anomaly.

Don't forget Glenn Murray, who whilst not the BEST player in the league is certainly worth the meagre £300 a week they are paying him.

And the BEST fans, and the BEST atmosphere at their STADIUM, and the BEST CHEERLEADERS........actually, they probably do have the best cheerleaders.

Speroni is probably the best keeper in the league. Zaha is the best player in the Championship, but is very young so will have the occasional off-day. Williams is fantastic but very young and didn't play much last season - although he could be better than Zaha. Clyne WAS the best full back in the division (hence why he's signing for a top Premier League club). Garder was a very good CB, but only played half our games last season as he was injured.

We hardly ever got to play our first XI last season, which is why we finished in midtable. There was a nice stat going around that whenever Williams started last season, we didn't lose a game :) Unfortunately he then had his leg broken in a bloody friendly for Wales... :(

Midtable my arse. WE finished midtable, YOU finished near the BOTTOM in 17th place, which is what makes your stupid claims about how great your players are so incredibly LAUGHABLE.
