Who partners Terry?...

???

Dawson for me... Upson, like Green, has played in a team that shipped goals for fun and Carragher is slower than Rik Waller.

Dawson - it's a game we've little chance of losing so will be able to see how he fits in.

Carragher's lack of pace is scary.

Upson has experience playing with Terry for England but is also shit. Dawson is in the best form but has zero experience at international level so its a tough call.

I've gone with Upson but to be honest there's nothing in it between him and Dawson. We really have to pray that King is fit. Before last night I would have said Carragher but I couldn't believe how off the pace and slow he looked.

Well Upson is the most experienced of the two so I think he will get the nod., but he does not exactly fill me with confidence.

Seem to remember Fozzie playing against Kuwait in the 1982 world cup, and he only had 2 caps at the time.

Maybe worth giving Dawson a game against a weaker side to settle him in, as he may be needed later in the tournament due to injuries/suspensions

The lack of pace in the centre of defence is really worrying. Carragher 1 on 1 with that American dude was plain embarrassing
