If I had a hammer,
I’d hammer in the morning
I’d hammer in the evening,
All over this land.

What would you do with a hammer?

a cracking question

they are good for breaking things, so that would have to be taken into consideration. butthere really is so much choice, so much temptation

Hammers come in very useful when making threats of nailing your loved ones nads to the wall when they have not done what one has asked of them!!

Isnt that right Roz? :lolol:

Hammers can also be used to REMOVE nails with that funny nail-removing device at the opposite end to the head.

So therefore you can go around dismantling items as well as BUILDING them.

Useful.

Id invent a sport using a hammer as some kind of bat or throwing object.

You could make it a sport.. 'Hammer throwing' or something. I bet the Russians would love that.

That's a claw hammer and the funny piece you are referring to is the 'claw'

Ned is extremely good with a hammer. He is very good at DIY most of which entails using a hammer.

In fact he is extremely skilled with giant hammers. He sets very very large press machines (100ton at the moment but has handled 400ton presses) for operators to use. They are industrial hammers.

I remember us beating the Hammers 3-1 in 1982, with goals by Smith. Gatting and Robinson.

I would use one to hang pictures and stuff!

Be careful not to bang the nail in wonky though!
