Activities on the streets during the Labour Party Conference are very tightly controlled. All sorts of arrangements have to be made with the police and other authorities, before approval is given for any public demonstrations.

My understanding is that the Sunday of the conference has already been booked for a trade union march in support of public sector jobs.
