Drive and Radio On, to name but two out of hundreds of examples, show that driving and music have a very special relationship on film.

I’d urge a viewing of Radio On if you’ve not seen it. A British classic that nobody really knows.

Set in 1970's Britain, a man drives from London to Bristol to investigate his brother's death. The purpose of his trip is offset by his encounters with a series of odd people.
Release date: 1979 (United Kingdom)
Director: Chris Petit
Distributed by: Netflix
Cinematography: Martin Schäfer
