What's the biggest fight in ice hockey? I've just been reading about a brawl that took place in 1976 between the Calgary Cowboys and Quebec Nordiques. Apparently it lasted for an HOUR! All players/coaches from both sides were involved and it took two dozen policemen to restore order!

Amazingly the game wasn't abandoned and Calgary went on to win 8-4. Are there any worse examples?

I can't say I've heard of any longer than that. I've been to a few where the police had to sort things out but they tend to be quite good at stopping things quickly if they need to.
