The bookies seem to think Pakistan have a good chance - around 6/4 in-running at the moment.

I think we might cock this match up. Hopefully not though.
Paks heading for a competitive total no doubt. Still fancy England to chase at TB though.

Strange watching a team scoring a bundle against England and not worrying about it.

It will be useful for us to play under a different kind of pressure. We need it and it might stand us in good stead for the rest of the tournament. Almost 50-50 in the betting now.

Good catch diving forwards in the deep by Woakes... important wicket... Babar Azam gone for 63 (from 66 balls)

199-3 (32.5)

That changes things hugely. Will Pakistan now collapse to around 240/250? ???

Not impossible, but I doubt it... England would be quite happy to keep them around 320 or so.

210-3 (34)

16 overs to go, a shade under 7/over gets them to 320.

Even 350-360 is chaseable at Trent Bridge. Ali having one of his better days, wish he would turn up the bat more often.

As a betting man I would favour Pakistan but Trent Bridge will give our tremendous batting line-up a very decent chance.

Yeah, even a target of 350 is well gettable (but I don't think Pakistan will reach it), at one stage it looked like Pakistan were going to get 380+ but they've slowed right down. I can't really see England slipping up from here

Any more underestimating Pakistan?

Archer goes for 13 in the 44th... 292-4 with 6 to go.

Very important 6 overs here... anything from 330 to 360 is possible.

Horrible fielding from England, nobody backing up when Root had a shy at the stumps... 4 buzzers :nono:

Archer goes for 14... 311-4 (46)

Needed that wicket or the game might have gone

Not sure - think anything around 350 and this England batting lineup just shrug their shoulders and say ‘ok then, let’s crack on’. Don’t seem to be fazed by totals like that at all........
