Set to leave Tranmere for Rotherham for a fee of around £30-40k, firstly I think that will effectivley relegate Tranmere as he was there best player but also I think he could have done a job here, I know hes 33 but he scored 15 goals last season in a rubbish team and would easily get the same if not more this season

Don't think he'd be any good here.

If Le Fondre was to go to L1 , I guess Bournemouth would be in for him if they get or have got 1mil for Pittman

Rotherham said that they would only sell Le Fondre if a deal of more than £3 million came in, i think that rules us out!!

I dunno which is worse, the threads where people suggest widly unrealistic targets like Lita or the ones where people suggest trundlers like Ian Moore.

He is talking out of his arse. £1m would see him leave, I doubt Ronnie Moore runs the finances at Rotherham.

Exactly. Managers always say they won't let the best best players go unless for ridiculous money. But when they get a fairly good offer (Probably about £1million in this case) they will take it. We were the same with Zamora

Money talks of course but seeing as Le Fondre is currently the only striker on their books they still wont be keen to sell.
