Am I mistaken in hearing John Byrne say tonight that it was possible that Ian Hart might be back?

He said this after practically pleading for callers as no one had phoned in.

BRING BACK HARTY

You are not mistaken, I heard him say it too, let's hope it's true

I quite enjoyed the lower key phone in tonight and both Hawsey and JB did a good job, won't be too upset if they continue to host it personally.

I wouldn't blame him if he did'nt want to. Just look at all this nonsense with Ross and Grant at the moment, two BBC big hitters making abusive phone calls to Jonathon Sachs then taking the piss big style out of his Grand Daughter on air....perhaps Harty would have been better off leaving sinister messages on Dick Knights answering machine than getting involved in Lickergate seeing as how those two ponces seem to have gotten away with it.

with Ross and Brand, and it's Andrew Sachs. They weren't very abusive, maybe you should just listen to the recording rather than quote whatever awful tabloid you read.

I thought the BBC sacked Harty for having sex with Basil Fawlty's granddaughter whilst sitting on a window, and then phoning up Alan Ball to tell him about it on the phone in, or am I confused this morning?

I thought it was hilarious last night, and on Saturday, with so few callers for the phone-in. As a first time poster here, was this boycott organised by North Stand Chat or has it been merely a spontaneous reaction? It's good to hear Andrew Hawes back, but we want Harty too!

Yeah i think Harty was making a pre-emptive stand. He knew the Ross and Grant would happen, that's why he spat at and knifed a spastic.
Oh is that not what happened?
