I can't see how there can be judicial review now.

The opposition could argue that the critia for building on an AONB has not been met.

But most of these are subjective and down to opinion ( national interest, mitigation of environmental effects etc.). Prescott being the DPM is able to trump anyone else's opinions ( EVEN the inspector's ) with his own, and would not be going against the law in doing so.

However, the question of an alternative site could be proven absolutely ( if it were to exist! ) and Prescott could be found wrong on this.

So a further enquiry to establish this once and for all would counter this claim.

thats reminded me of something though Mum, surely if Wimbledon can re-locate 90 miles away or so, would that allow us to build our stadium outside of Brighton and Hove(not that that is what anyone wants)because there are some cracking sites just off the m6 for football stadiums.No problems with AONB or transport or nimbys.

What is the football league criteria on that

Re-location has to be within 8 miles of the city centre.


However I think MK is just over this:lolol: :lolol:
