I can confirm Ian Hart does not get paid for his SW Hart of the Matter slot - he does it free of charge. As for some of the abuse he he has had on this board over the years, some of it is beyond the pale. Love him or loath him on air, away from the microphone he is a very decent guy and nobody deserves that kind of abuse.

As Ernest points out, we've already lost one damn fine Albion broadcaster this season, let's not lose another.

Thanks insider for clearing that up, I was wrong in my assumption that Harty was being paid for the Seagulls World stuff.
