Hi,
(I am not at the match due to illness) but I believe that Dean Wilkins is doing so well because he has never had a boss telling him how to run his team, the youth team. The past managers tell the reserve team manager what to do but DW can decide what players play without any moaning and he never really has had any pressure on him, except a bit last year in the FA youth cup. This means he will make his team play FOOTBALL, not rugby or a cricket but passing the ball around to earn tour place. Next manager maybe, but we must never sack him from the club but just demote his role. Also he will not say 'I did this at my last club, give me more money, I am bigger then this club.' His family live in Brighton and he loves Brighton. Come on Dean!
