And it looked as if we were denied a clear stone wall penalty.

Am i the only one who saw Murray get taken down rather clearly? Or was it an awful bit of reffing.

On the mud track to Preston Park, a Swindon fan him self wouldn't say it wasn't a penalty... No excuses though for the loss

As a side note, I think maybe Poyets half time team talks are pretty hit and miss. Norwhich, dominated first half, second half died. Today we were a different team second half than first. Yet Wycombe (away, granted thats where we play best) we managed to turn a horrendous and franky dismal first half, bar Murrays flair goal, in to a fantastic win. Maybe Gus doesn't know how to keep momentum going?

The ref was a twat all game and gave us next to nothing. The Lino in front of the South Stand was also a twat and missed blatant fouls and flagged against us for fouls comitted against us. They were indeed a poor duo.

If it was legal to shoot them, I would!

It's like I said on the match thread, it is so common that if you don't take advantage of your first half pressure you go in at half time level, it's a danger.

The manager can't exactly criticise you, you're dominating the game. How often do we see the analysts on TV say that a half time team talk will be "more of the same, please. You're doing everything right, just keep going like you did in the first half".

The problem is that your opponents will be getting rockets lit up their backsides. They will come out and step it up, and you're just going to go out and do the same as before, which isn't enough when your opponents step it up.

It's not just us, it happens all throughout football, that a team dominates the first half, but doesn't capitalise only for their domination to be reduced in the second half.

Waiting for it to come on the FL show but it looked like a penalty to me, Murray doesn't fall convincingly somehow though, even if fouled. Not like Forster!

The problem is that refs get warned about player who 'simulate' I think Murray must be on the list given the no.of penalty shouts turned down.

The thing with Murray is that he'll fall down so easily hardly anyone bats an eyelid when he does it anymore.

Yesterdays ref would have been known that he had the Brighton game, and undoubtedly would have watched us against Colchester on the TV on Monday.

No surprise then, that Murray was NEVER going to get a penalty after his blatant dive in the 2nd half against Colchester.

Glad i'm not the only one to have seen it!

And Acker79, thanks. I don't do other football now. Ignorant i know. i've not seen football outside of the Albion in years now, so thanks for clearing that up. He could have given Murray a rocket though!

So why are there so many negative threads on the team today? (i dont mean this one) as we've done so well recently and we're not gonna win every game and we're staying up! The fact yet another pen decision has gone against us just shows we'd have def got something from the game if i had been given...

* Still FUMING from Orient game!

I thought he went down far too easily tbh, but perhaps the highlights will show otherwise?

Murray, like Forster, goes down far too easily.

If he spent more time facing goal and facing up to defenders we might have got a few more goals out of him this season.

He was bloody lucky not to have got a second yellow against Colchester for a clear dive in the box.

The trouble is, you start to get a reputation as a diver and any Referee worth his salt is going to think long and hard about giving a decision when you've been acting like Jacques Cousteau for most of the game [please see Christiano Ronaldo and Didier Drogba for further info.]

Nailed on penalty - block M were up in arms (the only time they made a noise all game)

I thought so too. A lot of talk of going down easily, but If it was premier league they would be saying there was contact so therefore a penalty.
