I really must congtratulate The NSC UKIP voters...

on your progressive choice.

Just watching channel 4 news and they commented on the UKIP MEP appointed to the Women's Rights Group today. He has stated that he is pro mens rights and that more women should clean behind the fridge. He added that no one should employ women of child bearing age etc.

Yes, it did make me laugh, but when you consider this is a democratically elected MEP, supposedly representing the views of his constiuentcy, it summed up the UKIP morons for me. Perhaps they have realised that their racial policies are unacceptable, so they have moved on to women. They're gonna be worried when they realise we have only gone and given them the vote!

Well done the UKIP voters, a nation is proud of you.:shootself

They're a bunch of spivs, racists, saloon bar bores and con merchants. They always have been, always will be.

I reckon their 'glory' will be shortlived; the first Poujadistes of the 21st century.

Thank you I am truly touched by your comments, my wife would like to add to this post but at the moment she is trying to move the fridge.
UKIP and still proud of it, and if it pisses off a few pinkies then I am happy.

Yep, I saw the very same interview. It shows this rabble for what they are. Ex Tories showing their true racist and sexist colours that they had to keep the lid on in their previous life.

In the interest of objectivity, what he actually said was "No self-respecting small businessman with a brain in the right place would ever employ a lady of child-bearing age."

That is a different point. For small businesses the cost of employing a lady of child-bearing age is potentially much greater than the cost of employing a man of similar age. There is now also the requirement to provide parenting leave at short notice disrupting business. It is therefore understandable that a small businessman would think carefully when constructing his employment strategy.

What is needed is for government to recognise this problem and ensure that small businesses are encouraged financially (in general I mean, not specifically if they employ women) so that these problems do not deter small businessmen.

And rememeber that UKIP will disappear after the next election. Protest votes are OK in Euro elections but (I hope) voters will think more carefully when it comes to Westminster.

Then I am the odd one out because I was a member of the Labour Party when they were real Socialist.

Sully, correct me if i'm wrong, but didnt you state in a thread ages ago that you are currently a "fully-paid up" member of the BNP?

???

(could have a different 'Sully' though)

Yes I did but I was trying to annoy another pinky poster and it worked.
I have only ever been a member of the real Socialist and UKIP.
If you are wondering why I was a member of the Labour party once and now UKIP the real Socialist were opposed to joining the EU until ginger Kinnock came along

I'm sure there are other ways to annoy "pinky posters" Sully.

Is the European issue the only issue for you though? I mean, switching from 'Old (albeit pre-Kinnock) Labour' to UKIP is a pretty dramatic switch for the sake of one Policy, is it not?

Yeah, sure. Even if that were true (hmm...), it is utterly shameful and pathetic. To me, that speaks volumes about the depth, or lack thereof, of the anti-European argument: "don't like 'em foreigners". How very clever.

BTW, if you wish to consider this to be another "pinky" annoyed in order to bring some pleasure into your "life", then, hey, enjoy. Sounds like you need it.

Usual suspects spouting the usual crass arguements.

Is what that MEP said representative?

Is it better or worse than what george gallaway said?

Idiots.

Can't disagree with that at all - the same as any self respecting businessman or WOMAN wouldn't employ a 55 year old man to shift boxes around all day.

It's not very good when you're a party that is accused of being based on prejudice when your leaders arrival at the European parliament is overshadowed by the poorly thought out views of your own MEP's.
This row comes on top of the problem of the MEP who was suspended when they discovered he was facing court charges for benefit fraud. Not helpful for a party campigning to clear up euro sleaze.
