Am writing a little article on the bands playing at my uni, can someone give me a brief overview of The Bandits and Speedway. Got the wannadies and the thrills as well but should be ok with them.

the bandits are part of the new liverpool sound that just sounds like a bunch of texans banging bins- think an even summier, more american coral.

meant to be ok though!!

I like UCC.

And Clock were ok in their time.

Have many CDs by both.

i believe the bandits, who have just finished touring with paul weller, are playing at the concorde tonight (or i might be yesterday/tomorrow) so why not go see and then you'll know what there like for yourself...

I saw the Bandits at Glatonbury, They weren't too bad, but I was p*ssed!

Imagine Bob Dylan with more guitars and a bit more life to him. Fairly acoustic sound from what I recall, quite catchy, but on the whole nothing to make you stand back and say 'wow'.
