I need a car-smartish!

On the off chance..My Fiesta failed it' MOT. I've decided to scrap it a get a newer car. I've got £1200 to spend and am after a Vectra/Leguna. The challenge is that I teach so can't get out to look at cars 'til after, say 5pm. The bigun is that I must have a car by Friday as me bros is getting married and I need it for the logistics. So my quest for help is.. can anyone reccomend a car seller that is trusted, has stock that may help me in my quest for a motor. Thanks all in antiscipation.

Hire one for a week or weekend. You won't have to rush around and buy the first thing you see.

Look for a car, find one, have it checked out, buy it and complete all the formalities in 3 days whilst you are teaching full time - I will be amazed if you are able to pull it off. I too was going to suggest hiring for your brother's nuptials - thoroughly recommend enterprise for price and service. Or do you have a friend who could lend you a car for the wedding? Best of luck!

How much was it going cost to repair it?

Repairing, i feel is the way to go most of the time as the older motor can be repaired at relative low cost against the modern car, cos a £1200 motor could end up costing you as much if not more because you won't know the history of the car.

Mind you i do like hoarding!
